Suarah collects information you choose to provide when using the app or website. This may include your email address, account profile, nutrition entries, weight entries, goals, meal photos, food search activity, barcode or receipt scan results, subscription status, and support messages.
Health and Fitness Data
Suarah may process health and fitness information such as weight, body-composition goals, calorie targets, meal logs, macros, and HealthKit weight history when you choose to connect Apple Health. We use this information to provide app functionality, personalize your plan, and show progress over time.
Photos and Scans
If you use photo, barcode, nutrition-label, or receipt features, Suarah may process images and extracted text to help create food entries. You control when these features are used.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To calculate calorie, macro, and weekly budget information.
- To sync entries across devices.
- To provide support and respond to privacy requests.
- To maintain app security, reliability, and product quality.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate Suarah, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, payments, and email delivery. These providers are only allowed to process information for the services they provide to us.
Apple Health
HealthKit data is used only for app functionality that you request. Suarah does not use HealthKit data for advertising. You can manage HealthKit permissions in iOS Settings.
Retention and Deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Suarah, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request account deletion or submit a privacy request through Privacy Choices or Support.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, so we also limit collection where possible.
Children
Suarah is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it.
